What We Do

Land Clearing Services

We run one machine and do one thing well — getting land cleared fast, clean, and ready for whatever comes next.

🌿

Forestry Mulching

One pass with a Fecon drum mulcher turns brush, trees, and undergrowth into ground cover. Nothing to haul. Soil stays intact. Walk-ready when we leave.

🌲

Land Clearing

Trees, stumps, brush piles, overgrown fence lines — we clear it. Residential lots, rural acreage, small commercial sites. If it needs to go, we handle it.

🏗️

Site Preparation

Getting a lot ready for a build, a road, or a fence? We work with homeowners and contractors to get ground cleared and prepped on schedule.

🌾

Fence Line Clearing

Overgrown fence lines and property boundaries reclaimed. Great for farm owners and rural landowners needing access restored without tearing up the ground.

🛤️

Trail Cutting

ATV trails, hunting access, walking paths. We cut clean lines through timber and brush across Central Ohio — Circleville, Madison County, and beyond.

📐

Lot Clearing

New build lots, overgrown vacant parcels, small commercial sites. We move fast, leave a clean site. Individual owners — not subdivision builder lots.

🪚

Tree Work

Single-tree removals, hazard trees near structures, and selective felling for rural landowners. We handle the cut, bucking, and cleanup — you decide what stays and what goes.

🦌

Food Plot Cutting

Clearing for food plots, shooting lanes, and hunting access. The mulch layer left behind is ideal for plot establishment. We cut to your layout in Pickaway and Madison County.

🌱

Invasive Growth Removal

Honeysuckle, multiflora rose, autumn olive, and other invasives taking over your property. We cut and grind it out — mulching them down before they reseed is the cleanest removal method available.

How It Works

What Is Forestry Mulching?

Forestry mulching uses a high-speed drum with carbide teeth to cut, chip, and spread vegetation in a single pass. Trees up to 6–8 inches in diameter, brush, stumps, and undergrowth — all processed on the spot and left as ground-covering mulch.

No burn piles. No haul-offs. No bare dirt that erodes. The mulch layer holds moisture, protects the soil, and breaks down naturally. It's faster and cleaner than traditional clearing for most residential and rural applications.

We run a Fecon drum mulcher on a Bobcat T770 — compact enough to work in tight spaces, powerful enough for serious timber. Right-sized for the Madison and Pickaway County jobs we take.

vs. Traditional Clearing

Traditional clearing cuts trees and hauls the material off-site — multiple machines, multiple trips, bare ground left behind. Mulching does it in one pass with one machine. Usually faster and cheaper for residential-scale jobs.

Soil Health

The mulch layer breaks down into organic matter, feeds the soil, and holds it in place. No topsoil loss, no erosion risk. Better for food plots, pasture establishment, and anything growing after the clear.

When It's the Right Tool

Best for brush-heavy land, invasive growth, overgrown fence lines, trail cutting, and acreage prep. Not ideal when you need large logs preserved for timber value — we'll tell you that upfront.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked

What is forestry mulching? +

Forestry mulching uses a high-speed drum with carbide teeth to cut, chip, and spread trees, brush, and undergrowth in a single pass. Everything stays on-site as ground-covering mulch — no hauling, no burn piles, no bare soil. We use a Fecon drum mulcher on a Bobcat T770, which handles brush and trees up to 6–8 inches in diameter.

How much does forestry mulching cost in Ohio? +

Pricing in Central Ohio typically ranges from $150–$400 per acre depending on brush density, tree size, terrain, and site access. We quote every job on-site — no guessing from photos. Call 614-935-2508 to schedule a free walkthrough in Madison County, Pickaway County, or surrounding areas.

How long does it take to clear an acre? +

Moderate brush and small trees run roughly 2–4 hours per acre. Heavy timber or rough terrain takes longer. Most residential and rural jobs in Madison and Pickaway County finish in a single day. We'll give you a realistic time estimate when we walk the property.

Do you need to be home during the job? +

Not after the initial walkthrough. We'll mark boundaries and discuss anything to avoid before we start — after that, most jobs run without you needing to be present. We check in when we're done and you can do a final walkthrough before we leave.

Can you clear for a food plot or hunting access? +

Yes — food plot cutting and hunting access are some of the most common requests we get in Pickaway and Madison County. The mulch layer left after clearing is great for food plot establishment, and we can cut trails, shooting lanes, and access roads to your exact layout.
